On Friday, 19 September 2025, a social media user named MissNtabeni posted a video of Mashego desperately asking for help on her X account.
In the clip, the artist revealed that he is stranded in Nigeria, requesting financial help as his team has abandoned him and failed to compensate him.
“Life is difficult. I told them that I don’t wanna come to Nigeria. Please help so I can come back home,” he says.
