The DJ and reality TV star, who was paired with co-star Nelisa Ntabeni, has had his relationship status called into question by his own wife.
In a recent episode aired on September 21, 2025, Khosa’s wife, Sponono Radebe, confronted him, his new wife, and the experts, asserting that they were indeed married, which contradicted what he had previously indicated.
Sponono produced screenshot evidence wherein her husband confessed that he intended to use the show for fame and monetary incentives while claiming he would be loyal to her:
“He said he was going to act. I knew about the show, he told me, ‘You know me, you know I can contain myself.’
She expressed her trust in him, indicating that he had never provided any reason for her to question him, as he consistently reassured her through messages that she was his choice, emphasizing that his desire was for fame.
“He has never cheated on me, I said ‘Okay, I cannot stand between you and your dreams.’ What he wanted was publicity. I asked him if he slept with her, and he said, ‘No.’

When discussing his motivations for joining the show, Themba told Briefly News that he sought emotional stability:
“I was genuinely ready to settle down. I’ve been through enough in life to know what I want, and I thought this could be a real way to find someone who matches me. I know it sounds wild to marry a stranger, but I came in with an open heart.”
Themba mentioned that the relationship between his wife, Nelisa, and his children was developing positively:
“My kids and wife love each other, even though they haven’t spent a lot of time together. I can see a happy family in the future.”

On her TikTok, Nelisa addressed the fallout, revealing she was unaware of his dishonesty regarding having another wife despite a secret “confession.”
Additionally, Nelisa referred to Themba as her “then-husband,” suggesting the potential dissolution of yet another marriage following the split of Palesa Mphaki and Tshepo Miya.
