Chymamusique reveals details of the hit-and-run crash that claimed DJ Poizen’s life
<p South African DJ and producer Chymamusique, known as Collen Mmotla, has addressed the unfortunate car crash that resulted in the death of his friend, DJ Poizen.
<p The accident, which took place on 30 August 2025, involved a hit-and-run truck driver.
<p On his Instagram stories dated 3 October 2025, Chymamusique informed followers that efforts are ongoing to identify the driver at fault.
<p He wrote, “Truck drivers, please have mercy on us. Brief description: A truck caused our accident and ran away. Investigators are busy trying to find the truck, etc. But for now, we give it all to God. Sorry for the pain. God will make a way, one day. Hit and run.”
<p After the tragic incident, the DJ was placed in intensive care, and he has been keeping his fans informed about his recovery since he left the hospital in September.
<p Over the weekend, he shared a photo where he was seen walking for the first time post-accident, prompting an outpouring of support from fans throughout South Africa on his X account.
<p One supporter, @Real_Precious_M, remarked, “God is really alive. I also came out of a bad accident. Only God knows. He gave us a second chance. 🥹💯 I will continue to praise him.”
<p Another follower, @undercovard, noted, “All things work together for them who love God, those who are called according to his purpose. Your journey is still ahead, Amen.”
<p @TM_Unfiltered also shared reflections on the incident, stating, “The people who got burned in the other car you guys collided with were only getting buried today, as a DNA test had to determine each of them. We are grateful that you made it out in one piece; it’s a miracle indeed. Speedy recovery.”
