South African comedian and actress Celeste Ntuli expressed her gratitude for surviving a grave car accident that occurred while she was en route to a performance in Secunda, Gauteng.
The Isibaya actress, recently honored with the Best Comedian Award, took to social media to recount the harrowing event.
Sharing images of the damaged vehicle on Facebook, she wrote, “Grateful for life! Happy Saturday, everyone. @jaecoosouthafrica, thank you, the car saved my life. 👑❤️💫🙏🏿🇿🇦🌍👑. Live, love, laugh, light, and land.”
In a subsequent video, Ntuli referred to the accident as a “proper near-death experience”, noting that the crash took place on Friday, September 26, 2025.
She mentioned that the vehicle involved was a sponsored car, still being evaluated following the incident, adding, “There are so many issues with that because it’s a sponsored car… but I’m just thankful for it because it saved my life.”
Support poured in from fans and peers, with many filling her comment section with messages of joy and relief, celebrating her safe recovery and thanking fate for her well-being.
