Softfootball reports that the promising 20-year-old player participated in the full 90 minutes last weekend when Real Madrid triumphed over Villarreal 3-1, with Vinicius Junior netting two goals that helped the team secure the top spot in the league.

According to Fabrizio Romano on his official X account, Huijsen will not participate in either match during this international period. He noted:
Dean Huijsen suffers muscle fatigue and can’t be available to play for Spain in the next two games.
Real Madrid staff will assess the centre back with injury seen as not long/serious one — could be a matter of 1/2 weeks waiting for tests.
The previous Bournemouth player has departed the Spain training camp and has been temporarily replaced by Aymeric Laporte, a former Manchester City defender. The 31-year-old recently returned to Athletic Bilbao after a year and a half with the Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr.
Spain is scheduled to play against Georgia on Saturday at Estadio Manuel Martínez Valero, followed by a match against Bulgaria at José Zorrilla Stadium.
