Chauke, who gained attention previously when he appeared in court, is still incarcerated after the most recent bail hearing on Friday, 21 November 2025.
This past week, the musician attracted social media’s focus once again when he was seen in a police vehicle.
Daily Sun reported on Friday, 21 November 2025, that Shebeshxt continues to be detained as his bail hearing has been rescheduled to Tuesday, 25 November 2025.
As stated by the publication, Chauke’s attorney, Lot Rammusi, requested additional time to compile necessary information for the upcoming bail application.
According to news outlet Polokwane Observer, the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) Limpopo spokesperson, Mashudu Malabi-Dzangi, clarified through a video posted on its X account on 21 November 2025 why the bail hearing will continue on 25 November 2025.
