Amapiano artist Young Stunna has responded to the mounting curiosity regarding the postponement of his eagerly awaited album, “Busisiwe.” While fans have been looking forward to the release, the popular vocalist disclosed that the album’s launch has been rescheduled to 2026.
<pYoung Stunna, recognized for his engaging vocals and grounded artistic expression, mentioned that the album has been completed. Nevertheless, the choice to delay the release was influenced by a significant discussion with his mentor and producer, Kabza De Small, whom he affectionately refers to as a paternal figure.
“Oh, let me tell you, the album is done, but my dad (Kabza De Small) said we need to push it back — like that’s the truth,” Stunna explained. He relayed that Kabza believed the current timing was not ideal, pointing out the fast-moving nature of the music industry this year and the necessity to provide the project with ample room to shine.
“My dad said we need to push back because there’s a lot of things going on this year… and he feels like we should just give my album space and go back to my spirituality,” Stunna added.
The creator of the hit song “Adiwele” noted that the delay has allowed him to re-establish a deeper connection with himself. He highlighted the importance of this spiritual grounding as he grows both as an artist and as an individual.
“I’ve been connecting with myself a lot. So, the album is pushed back,” he mentioned.
Though fans may feel disheartened by the wait, Stunna sparked interest by hinting at significant collaborations featured on the album. He indicated that he has been collaborating with several of his musical idols, promising a collection of dynamic features and innovative sounds.
“I’ve been doing a lot of music with, like, my role models as well. So, there’s a lot of music that’s coming out,” he confirmed.
While the release of “Busisiwe” is now set for a later date than anticipated, Young Stunna reassured his audience that the finished work will reflect purpose, personal development, and collaborations that showcase his growth.
With 2026 now designated as the new launch timeframe, anticipation remains high, underscoring Young Stunna’s position as one of the most impactful and spiritually connected voices in Amapiano music.
