Majid Jordan Delights South Africa with a Sweet Comeback at Milk + Cookies Festival

Milk + Cookies is thrilled to unveil Majid Jordan alongside Gunna for Milk + Cookies Festival’s return to South Africa. Known for their genre-blending R&B sound and global cultural influence, Majid Jordan represent the perfect bridge between SA’s soulful musical roots and today’s boundary-pushing sound. Their inclusion speaks directly to Milk + Cookies’ mission: uniting international excellence with South Africa’s unstoppable creative energy – and giving fans a world-class experience that still feels deeply local.

After a sold-out 2025 debut headlined by Kaytranada that drew 20,000 fans, Milk + Cookies Music Week returns bigger than ever from 19 December 2025 to 13 January 2026, determined to honour SA’s heritage, uplift its communities, and showcase its talent on the world stage.

THE MOVE MZANSI STAGE – POWERED BY EXTREME

Milk + Cookies is proud to welcome Extreme back for a second year as an official festival partner, reinforcing its commitment to promoting South Africa’s youth culture. This year introduces the Move Mzansi Stage – Powered by Extreme, a new platform dedicated to showcasing movement-led music and emerging local talent.

The Move Mzansi Stage highlights South Africa’s movement-driven youth culture, covering genres from Amapiano and Deep House to Electronic and Dance. Powered by Extreme, this stage is a venue for discovery, elevating the new generation of DJs, dancers, and creators who are at the forefront of the nation’s cultural scene.

Extreme believes in the transformative power of positive energy, movement, and self-expression as vital to unlocking potential. As a brand focused on youth culture, Extreme supports creators who are advancing South Africa’s artistic landscape – from dancers embracing new styles to DJs transcending genres and innovators boldly defining their paths.

This year’s Milk + Cookies Festival presents its most expansive lineup to date, combining international stars with top South African artists across two cities.
