South African musical talents Focalistic, Thakzin, and Naledi Aphiwe will take center stage at #ACCES2025 in Tshwane from October 30 to November 1, alongside Grammy-winning producer Gordon Williams at Africa’s leading music event.
The conference will showcase Focalistic discussing insights from his global “Piano To The World” initiative, Thakzin uncovering Web3 opportunities for African artists, and the 18-year-old internet sensation Naledi Aphiwe explaining how she juggles global fame with her artistic integrity.
Each artist contributes distinctive skills, from Focalistic’s Amapiano empire expansion to Thakzin’s innovative 3Step genre formulation and Naledi’s evolution from township choir to collaborating with Chris Brown.
Music Industry 2025: Global Tours, Web3 and Career Growth
The artists will guide discussions on converting viral success into enduring careers, touching on international touring, digital advancements, and preserving cultural authenticity.
Focalistic is anticipated to unpack his effective strategies for European and North American tours, while Thakzin will delve into the possibilities of Web3 and Naledi will discuss how she balances her education with a thriving music career.

Showcase Festival Line-up: Over 80 African Acts to Perform
The 2025 ACCES conference in Tshwane will also feature a Showcase Festival, highlighting over 80 performers over two nights, October 30 and November 1.
The lineup showcases a diverse range of the continent’s sounds, with artists spanning genres from Amapiano and Afro-soul to various electronic styles.
Performances will include South African talents such as Focalistic, Zoë Modiga, and Thakzin, alongside artists from other regions, including Botswana’s Mpho Sebina and Claudio Rabe from Réunion Island.
