Sol Phenduka opens up about life after Kaya FM fired him
Sol Phenduka, a well-known figure in South African media, has humorously discussed his circumstances following his dismissal from Kaya FM.
This past year has certainly been notable for the radio personality, yet he did not anticipate losing his job.
Previous reports indicated that Kaya FM terminated Sol’s contract after he and Mac G made disrespectful comments about Minnie Dlamini on their show, Podcast and Chill.
On December 25, Sol took to X to express the challenges he is facing since losing his position.
“Since Kaya fired me, it’s been tough. I can’t believe this also happened to me on Christmas,” he shared, along with a heartbreak emoji.
His sarcasm, however, became evident in the accompanying video.
In the footage, Sol is casually seen enjoying ice cream from the freezer while claiming he is experiencing difficult times.
Remarkably, viewers seemed to focus less on his statements and more on his choice of shorts in the video.
Viewers made light of his attire, humorously noting that they resembled something made from a dishcloth.
“I almost thought that since things are tough, you’re wearing a dishcloth,” one viewer commented.
Another added, “You like eating so much, you even wear the tablecloth everywhere.”
