Cyan Boujee is facing criticism once more, as she concludes 2025 amidst new allegations regarding a missed paid performance.
The DJ and social media personality stands accused of failing to attend an event in Northern Cape for which she was reportedly compensated.
Reports from MDNnewss on X, dated 28 December 2025, state that Cyan was scheduled to perform at the Katchane Lifestyle & KANAAN Pool Party on 27 December but did not appear.
Event organizers assert that she received a booking fee of R28,000 and was featured as one of the primary performers of the event. They claim that her travel and accommodations were arranged, with her participation confirmed prior to the event.
Despite this, organizers allege that their efforts to contact Cyan and her management on the day of the event were futile.
In light of her absence, Katchane Lifestyle & KANAAN issued an apology to ticket holders who had anticipated her performance.
Furthermore, the organizers have announced plans to take legal action against her and her team, claiming they vanished after receiving payment.
“We will be dealing legally with Cyan Boujee and her team, as this basically means they stole and ran off with our money,” the organizers reportedly stated.
