Amapiano artist Young Stunna has addressed the rumors surrounding the postponed release of his eagerly awaited album, Busiswe.
As 2025 approaches its conclusion, discussions about the album have intensified on social media, with some suggesting that the postponement might be linked to undisclosed industry politics rather than artistic considerations.
A social media user known as @TheOGPurist initiated dialogue by presenting a theory connecting the delay to potential contractual conflicts with Piano Hub and Sony Music.
“I have a theory as to why Young Stunna is taking so long to drop his album. I think the duration of his contract with Piano Hub is finished, but Sony doesn’t want to let him go because of the money he generates for them. I think the label is delaying the album so they can add his features,” the user posted.
This theory gained momentum, particularly following Young Stunna’s recent injury in East London, which had already raised concerns about potential delays.
In response, the artist sought to quell the speculation.
In a video that quickly gained traction online, Young Stunna was captured in conversation with music industry figure and podcaster Slikour, where he refuted the contract allegations and clarified the actual reason for the album’s delay.
While specifics were not elaborated upon, the artist emphasized that the timing of the album’s release is a strategic choice rather than the outcome of any disputes with his label.
