Prominent Amapiano artist Mr Jazziq is marking a significant birthday while preparing for the release of his long-awaited ninth studio album, 03:03. His latest single, Wololo, features an impressive array of artists, including Focalistic, Vigro Deep, Freddy K, and MJ.
“Wololo” blends elements of gqom, classic house, and distinct log drum sounds, delivering energetic beats alongside meaningful lyrics. With contributions from MJ and Focalistic, and production by Jazziq, Vigro Deep, and Freddy K, the track conveys a strong message of perseverance. The phrase “Wololo ke halala” translates loosely to “whatever challenges come my way, I will keep moving forward and achieve victory” — a reflection of Mr Jazziq’s dedication to his art.
This single also initiates the pre-order phase for 03:03, which is set to release on 3 March 2026 and includes 14 tracks. The album encapsulates Jazziq’s six-year journey within the music industry, showcasing his development, hurdles, and successes. It opens with an introduction from sobriety advocate Madala TK, establishing a contemplative and uplifting atmosphere.
03:03 features numerous collaborators such as Vigro Deep, Chley, King P, Mpho Spizzy, MJ, Focalistic, Sje Konka, Zwayveton, and Tete — reinforcing Jazziq’s status as a renowned hitmaker and collaborator. The album is poised to showcase a mix of creativity and the signature amapiano style that he is known for.
In addition to his music, Mr Jazziq will host Vibes on Main Bloemfontein on 28 February 2026 at the Bloemfontein Old Grey Showgrounds. This event will feature a stellar lineup, including Mr Jazziq, Kabza De Small, DBN GOGO, Toss, and Stino le Thwenny, in addition to local artists.
Tickets for early birds are available for R100 (limited to 1,000), with later prices set at R180 online and R230 at the venue.
