The acclaimed British R&B artist Ella Mai will perform for her South African fans this April, with two shows confirmed in Sun City and Cape Town.
She will make her first appearance at the Sun City Superbowl on Saturday, April 25, during the Konka Kulture Weekend, a three-day musical event organized by Konka and Vertex Events in partnership with Sun City.
Following her Sun City performance, she will take the stage again in Cape Town at GrandWest on Sunday, April 26, also coordinated by Vertex Events.
With chart-toppers including Boo’d Up and Trip, Ella Mai is anticipated to deliver a memorable performance filled with beloved tracks.
Fans can also expect to hear songs from her most recent album, Do You Still Love Me, which includes tracks like Little Things and Tell Her.
Since emerging on the global stage in 2014, Ella Mai has established a successful career, receiving numerous awards and collaborating with renowned artists such as Babyface, Chris Brown, Usher, H.E.R., Nicki Minaj, Quavo, and Ed Sheeran.
Nombuso Buthelezi, the manager of Sun City Convention Centre, expressed excitement about hosting the artist.
“We believe that music can bring people together, creating connections that go beyond the ordinary. Our goal is that guests will leave with lasting memories and stories to share for years,” she said.
Zizile Mtshali, Head of Events at Vertex Events, shared similar enthusiasm.
