Zee Nxumalo bags seven Metro FM nominations
The South African music artist Zee Nxumalo is marking a significant achievement with seven nominations at the upcoming 2026 Metro FM Music Awards.
Nxumalo received nods in several major categories, including Artist of the Year, Best Female Artist, Best Styled Artist, and Best Music Video for her popular track Mamma, which features Skillz and Sykes.
Additionally, she garnered recognition across various genres with her collaborations.
Her nominations also include Best Maskandi for Sajola Kamnandi alongside Simonofu, Best Kwaito/Gqom for Ngyasindelwa with DJ Lag and KC Driller, and Best Lekompo for Rato Laka with Shebeshxt, Naqua SA, and Slidoo Man.
After the announcement of the nominations, an exuberant Zee Nxumalo shared her excitement on Instagram, expressing her feelings about the milestone.
“I don’t know how to feel 👀 BUT I DO KNOW THAT 7 nominations is definitely something to be grateful for. So which category are we bringing home,” she wrote.
