The Grade 3 student, named Imibongo Ntamehlo, reportedly faced unrelenting ridicule and harassment at her school.
It has been reported that her classmates taunted her about her family’s living conditions, referring to her home as “ugly.”
In addition, she was allegedly mocked for not having a lunchbox, as classmates targeted her due to financial difficulties faced by her family.
Despite raising alarms about the bullying, it is understood that the situation did not improve.
This tragic case garnered significant attention after a prominent user on X, Am_Blujay, detailed the incident along with a photograph of Imibongo.
Within a short period, the post attracted over 140,000 views, prompting emotional reactions from users throughout the country.
Users voiced their disbelief and anger, questioning how such a young child could endure such suffering.
