Additionally, she has claimed that Thobejane has been issuing threats and following her.
This latest development occurs as Matlala faces her own significant legal challenges.
Previously, she and her spouse, alleged cartel member Vusimuzi ‘Cat’ Matlala, were taken into custody regarding the attempted murder of Thobejane.
This event is linked to a shooting in Sandton, Gauteng, that occurred in 2022, which Thobejane managed to survive.
Matlala was subsequently released after posting R20,000 bail, while her husband remains in custody as proceedings continue.
The conflict between the two women has escalated, particularly following Matlala’s recent court appearance at the South Gauteng High Court in Johannesburg.
In the aftermath of her court appearance, Thobejane addressed her experiences on social media, openly discussing the trauma resulting from the alleged attempt on her life.
She shared that she is coping with post-traumatic stress and did not hesitate to criticize the couple, labeling Matlala as a “hitman” and implying that her aim was to deprive Thobejane’s child of a mother.
Thobejane also raised concerns about the presence of bodyguards during the couple’s court hearing, suggesting this sparked further apprehension.
