Leonid Radvinsky dies at age 43
Leonid Radvinsky, known for founding OnlyFans, has passed away at the age of 43 after a significant struggle with cancer.
This was confirmed on Monday via a statement from the company, signifying a notable change for the platform that experienced significant expansion during his tenure.
“We are deeply saddened to announce the death of Leo Radvinsky. Leo passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer. His family have requested privacy at this difficult time,” a spokesperson said.
Radvinsky, who was of Ukrainian-American descent, assumed control of OnlyFans in 2018 after acquiring Fenix International Limited.
At that point, the platform was relatively new, having been established just two years earlier by Guy Stokely and Tim Stokely.
Under his leadership, OnlyFans evolved into a leading player in the subscription content sector, especially during the COVID-19 lockdown, as more creators and audiences turned to online platforms.
This rapid growth resulted in substantial profits, with Radvinsky reportedly earning hundreds of millions in dividends, including a notable $701 million payout in 2025.
In addition to OnlyFans, he launched a venture capital firm in 2009 aimed at investing in technology firms, further establishing his influence in the digital market.
