Zakes Bantwini and Nandi Madida take legal action against Musa Khawula
Zakes Bantwini and Nandi Madida have reportedly initiated a lawsuit against controversial blogger Musa Khawula over a series of social media comments they consider harmful and offensive.
The well-known couple, who are popular in South Africa, has approached the legal system in response to what they deem damaging statements regarding their child.
This legal action follows a post made by Nandi on X on 13 March 2026, where she called for greater awareness and acceptance of neurodivergence.
In her message, she expressed a desire to change how society perceives conditions that are often misunderstood.
“One of my missions in this life is to help people understand neurodivergence… Most importantly, to normalise neurodivergence. ADHD, autism, dysone etc.,” she wrote.
Khawula’s reaction to her post, however, garnered significant backlash, as he made offensive remarks that have since ignited outrage on social media.
“You are only interested in this ’neurodivergent’ matter only because you gave birth to a retard… Good luck to you and your retard, Xo Xo, gossip girl.”
The reactions on social media were swift, with many users decrying Khawula’s language as harmful and unacceptable.
For Bantwini and Madida, the remarks seem to have crossed a significant boundary, leading them to pursue legal action.
According to sources, the couple is asking for an apology and is demanding that Khawula refrain from making any further comments involving their names or family.
Their decision to take legal action represents a strong rejection of online harassment, especially when it comes to their child.
