On Wednesday, May 6, Josh Groban, the 45-year-old singer and songwriter, will be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
This marks star number 2,843 for Groban, who will be recognized in the Recording category.
Ben Schwartz, Josh Gad, and David Foster, a fellow Walk of Fame inductee, will join him at the ceremony.
“The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is proud to welcome singer Josh Groban to the Hollywood Walk of Fame,” said Ana Martinez, the producer of the Walk of Fame.
“Josh has this incredible way of connecting with people through his music—it really stays with you. It’s been amazing to watch his journey over the years, and we’re so happy to celebrate him today with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame,” Martinez further commented.
Groban first gained attention as a teenager when he appeared on Ally McBeal and performed alongside Celine Dion during a Grammys rehearsal at the age of 17.
He boasts nine studio albums, with his tenth, Cinematic, set to release on May 8.
