ProVerb, born Tebogo Sidney Thabiso Thekisho, honed his hosting abilities on the acclaimed talent competition Idols South Africa, where he served for an impressive 14 seasons.
In a post on his Instagram, ProVerb reflected on hosting the initial Powerball draw on Tuesday night: “Tonight marked the return of the National Lottery live draws & I had the privilege of stepping onto that stage as one of the new hosts. Grateful for the opportunity to be part of a moment that many South Africans remember fondly, now reimagined for a new era. Here’s to possibility, anticipation, and making every draw count.”
While Mgudlwa has yet to take her place on stage as one of the hosts, her vast experience from shows like Celebrity Game Night and Real Talk With Anele makes her a fitting candidate for the live draw.
Beyond her television endeavors, Mgudlwa has been active in radio for more than 23 years, and she currently hosts Anele and the Club on 947.
