Usimamane Discusses the Birth of his ‘Tesla Tuesday’ Series. The South African rapper and emerging talent Usimamane shared insights into how his “Tesla Tuesday” series began, emphasizing its roots in a desire to reconnect with fans by consistently releasing music.
In a conversation on A Okay!, Usimamane revealed that the series emerged from his aim to compensate for a quiet year in 2025.
“Tesla Tuesday is something that I just started, not knowing what I was doing,” Usimamane reflected. “I wanted to put out more songs since I didn’t drop anything last year, 2025.”
The plan is simple: unveil new music every Tuesday. What began as an experiment has already resulted in two releases, with the third installment now available.
Usimamane indicated that this latest edition holds particular importance as he aims to encourage fan participation in the creative process. He is optimistic that including listeners could enhance the project.
“We’ve dropped two episodes so far. This is like the third one,” he noted. “I wanted to involve the people on this one because I believe that the third one is probably like a charm.”
The artist conveys his belief that the collaboration with his audience will foster a deeper connection and could lead to a stronger reaction.
“With people, it will just mean something, and hopefully it will do something crazier,” he stated.
As “Tesla Tuesday” gains traction, the series is evolving beyond a mere release timetable. For Usimamane, it signifies a renewed approach to regularity and creativity, along with enhancing connections with fans after a hiatus from new music.
With three installments now in motion and fan engagement being a critical aspect, the audience is keen to see where “Tesla Tuesday” will lead next.
