South African YouTuber Cyan Boujee has appeared back on social media, and her remarkable glow in a newly viral video has captured the attention of her audience.
A video featuring the influencer was posted on X (formerly Twitter) on 19 June 2026, igniting a swift reaction online. In the footage, she is seen singing along to Zee Nxumalo’s hit song Ngithathiwe, marking her re-entry into the social media landscape.
Cyan, whose real name is Honour Zuma, had gone silent on her social channels by late April, later explaining that her pause was due to personal reasons. This hiatus led to various speculations about the causes behind her abrupt absence.
The decision to withdraw from social media came shortly after rumors circulated about her potential marriage, as she had been seen wearing traditional clothing.
Although interest in that angle faded, more sensational speculation arose soon after, leading to critical questions about Cyan’s financial situation.
The YouTuber-turned-DJ was associated with the City of Ekurhuleni Manager, Kagiso Lerutla, who was apprehended in late April over a significant corruption scandal.
Briefly News noted that speculation about their relationship came to the forefront after Cyan’s social media accounts were deactivated soon after Lerutla’s arrest.
Lerutla was also connected to media figure Sithelo Shozi and singer MaWhoo, both of whom have faced scrutiny regarding their extravagant lifestyles, prompting questions about the source of their wealth.
