Chelsea is set to submit an official bid of €100 million for RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomandé as the club intensifies its efforts to acquire one of Europe’s most promising young talents.
Softfootball noted in late June that Liverpool’s ambitions to sign the Ivorian faced a significant obstacle after it was reported that Diomandé considers Paris Saint-Germain his top choice if he decides to leave RB Leipzig this summer.
The 19-year-old international from Ivory Coast has quickly become a key target following an impressive season in the Bundesliga, but RB Leipzig remains firm on a price tag above €120 million.
Chelsea is likely to challenge Leipzig’s stance with a substantial offer and is also exploring the possibility of adding a loan-back clause. This would enable Diomandé to continue developing while securing the deal.

The Blues are facing strong rivals in Liverpool, Manchester City, and Manchester United, all of whom have been tracking the teenager’s swift ascent.
Previously, Diomandé opted against joining Chelsea earlier in his career in order to secure more regular first-team appearances, a choice that has significantly contributed to his growth into one of Europe’s most desired wingers.
Now, Chelsea aims to utilize their ambitious offer to alter the dynamics of the competition as they strive to sign one of the most exciting young forwards in global football.
