Aston Villa has initiated talks with Chelsea regarding the possible transfers of Nicolas Jackson and Alejandro Garnacho, following an agreement on Morgan Rogers.
In the last day, Jackson emerged as a key topic for both clubs as Villa aims to bolster its attacking options ahead of the upcoming season.
Unai Emery has admired the Senegalese forward for some time, having previously collaborated with him at Villarreal and viewed him as a potential acquisition during last summer’s transfer window.
While Villa has shown interest, Jackson is inclined to remain at Chelsea and compete for a spot in the setup under new coach Xabi Alonso. He is committed to making a strong impression during pre-season to secure his role in the team’s plans.
Garnacho’s situation also seems to be in limbo, as Chelsea is receptive to a permanent transfer should a suitable proposal come through.
