FC Porto has notified AS Roma that they seek better terms regarding the obligation-to-buy clause prior to giving their final approval for Rodrigo Mora’s transfer.
Porto president André Villas-Boas is demanding modifications to the terms of the obligation clause before he will endorse the agreement. While all other components of the contract are settled, the arrangement regarding the future purchase remains the sole sticking point.
Softfootball has previously reported that Roma made an official €25 million bid to Porto for the talented midfielder, with discussions continuing over the Portuguese team’s requests.

Porto is advocating for improved financial terms and has also engaged in talks with Galatasaray regarding the 19-year-old player. Jorge Mendes is playing a significant role in facilitating the negotiations.
Roma remains optimistic about finalizing the transfer, with both teams concentrating on ironing out the last details of the obligation-to-buy clause.
Roma’s recent moves indicate the club’s goal to build on last season’s achievements by acquiring new attacking talent and securing the long-term commitment of important players.
