South African hip hop artist Tshego Santana has unveiled his new single Azizi, featuring rapper A1 RSA. The track, which dropped on 18 September 2026, is a new collaborative effort from Santana recorded under Santilala Records, further expanding his musical portfolio this year.
Azizi continues the partnership between the two artists, following their previous collaboration in 2025 titled DiPESALEME, which included Rillo Beats. Their latest work maintains that synergy, allowing both to showcase their melodic tendencies and unique rap styles.
After the release, Tshego Santana expressed his appreciation to fans in an Instagram post, which concluded with, “AZIZI Ft @_a1rsa
Produced by @lordtaylor011 Engineered by @1kvlsuav Thank you God.” This acknowledgment comes as Azizi adds to a prolific season for the artist, who has been consistently releasing new tracks throughout 2026.
Lasting two minutes and 34 seconds, Azizi presents a succinct collaboration that emphasizes engaging hip hop rhythms alongside the melodic styles of both performers. The songwriting credits go to Tshego Santana and A1 RSA, with Lord Taylor 011 responsible for production and compilation. Mastering duties were carried out by KVL SUAV, and Thato Bookholane served as the A&R administrator.
This release follows Tshego Santana’s earlier singles from 2026, including Hoekom? with Jakarumba and Uze Nenye, featuring J Smash and Buzzi Lee. This activity reflects a productive period following his projects over the last two years, which included the mixtape Trust Fund Baby Boy and the EP The Build in 2024, as well as the EP SANTILALA in 2025.
Through narrative-driven lyrics and introspective themes, Tshego Santana is carving his niche as a prominent voice in South African hip hop. His work with Santilala Records allows him to explore various collaborations while he remains true to his musical roots.
A1 RSA contributes a different flavor to Azizi with his vernacular rap style known as Gwensta. The artist from North West has shaped his sound around local culture and frequently collaborates with producer Biggest Kay.
For Santana, Azizi signifies another important release in an already active year, and the collaboration with A1 RSA offers fans a chance to experience the evolution of their partnership. With this single now accessible, it enriches Santana’s expanding discography and propels his journey with Santilala Records forward.
