South African rapper Gaffi is preparing to unveil Big Purrr II: Khoyeke, the eagerly awaited follow-up to his 2025 release Big Purrr, on October 2, 2026.
Building on the success of Big Purrr, which garnered over 3 million streams since its launch on November 21, 2025, Gaffi’s forthcoming project promises to deepen the sound, collaborations, and artistic identity defined in its predecessor. Big Purrr II: Khoyeke features a carefully curated selection of artists from South Africa’s dynamic hip-hop scene.
This new collection, comprising eight tracks, continues Gaffi’s journey from the original Big Purrr project. The EP introduces fresh solo tracks and collaborations, furthering Gaffi’s artistic exploration of modern Xhosa and South African hip-hop.

The album includes contributions from K.Keed and Lowfeye, along with Gaffi’s regular collaborators April Yung and Mido RSA. Additionally, it features IIndlondlo, a new artist emerging from the Xhosa hip-hop scene, adding a distinct perspective to Gaffi’s musical narrative.
By merging established collaboration with new talent and partnerships, Big Purrr II: Khoyeke not only continues the themes introduced in Big Purrr but also signifies a new phase in Gaffi’s artistic development.
