Liverpool’s Jeremy Jacquet has spoken highly of France’s head coach Zinedine Zidane, commending his inclusive approach towards young players and the trust he establishes within the national team.
Jacquet, who received his first call-up to the France squad under Zidane, values the closeness and transparency the iconic former Real Madrid manager maintains with players.

I like how Zinedine Zidane is close to us as players, he’s very transparent and honest,
Jacquet stated.
The rising star also remarked on Zidane’s commitment to providing chances for young talents, underscoring that the France manager is unhesitant when it comes to choosing younger players for matches.
He’s NOT scared when it’s time to play the young players, at all,
Jacquet emphasized.
As reported by Softfootball, Jacquet’s remarks follow his senior debut for France during the recent Nations League matches, where he was one of five new faces in Zidane’s initial squad after his successful transition from Rennes to Liverpool.
Jacquet’s ascent has been particularly remarkable considering the serious shoulder injury he endured while with Rennes against Lens in February. He had to leave the match due to a left shoulder issue, leading to an announcement from Rennes that surgery was necessary following subsequent evaluations.
In July, he finalized his transfer to Liverpool after the Reds reached a deal with Rennes earlier in the year. The club confirmed that Jacquet had signed a long-term deal, despite his season being impacted by the shoulder injury.
Nevertheless, Jacquet has continued to demonstrate significant progress and is now included in Zidane’s plans for the French national team.
