Blue Mbombo, a well-known figure in South Africa’s media landscape, has publicly expressed her concerns for her safety following claims of enduring death threats, verbal harassment, and emotional distress allegedly orchestrated by renowned entrepreneur Thami Ndlala.
In a press release issued on 2 October 2026, Mbombo disclosed that the harassment had escalated to a point where she could no longer remain silent, stating that the situation had become “too egregious a monster for one woman to contain.”
As per her statement, the mistreatment has continued for an extended period. Mbombo alleges that Ndlala not only targeted her personally but also employed others to instill fear in her.
She explained that her initial choice to manage the situation privately was based on the hope that the abuse would cease, yet instead, the conditions worsened.
A critical moment for the media personality arose when she purportedly received explicit threats against her family. “On several occasions, he made death threats,” Mbombo stated.
“It was at that point, when he threatened the life of my child, that I felt it was enough.”
Mbombo has confirmed that she has taken formal legal measures in response to these events.
A case has officially been registered against Ndlala with the South African Police Service (SAPS). Reports indicate that Mbombo’s legal and security teams supplied robust evidence to support the case.
Moreover, the courts have issued an interim protection order against Ndlala to ensure the safety of Mbombo and her family while the investigation is ongoing.
The reality TV star and model stressed that her choice to make a public declaration was not aimed at initiating a public dispute or tarnishing Ndlala’s reputation.
Rather, she characterized it as an essential step to protect her mental, physical, and public standing, as well as to allow legal processes to unfold without disruption.
“I respectfully ask the media and everyone to treat the matter with sensitivity and, above all, to respect the privacy and safety of my child and family,” concluded Mbombo in her statement.
As of now, Ndlala has not provided a formal public response to the allegations or to the ongoing SAPS inquiry.
