The 12-track project addresses themes such as success, faith, family dynamics, personal challenges, and his ascent in the music industry, while prominently featuring his roots in Pretoria and Pitori identity.
The album includes contributions from various artists within the Pretoria music community and beyond, like A-Reece, Focalistic, Mochen, Mo Sufi, Khalee G, THE NORTHMOB., and Saint Cielo. The tracklist boasts songs including “My Life,” “Hood Gospels,” “Punyete Party,” “2014 Joh,” “Soweto Derby,” “Fetlhela,” and concludes with the title track, “Ground 2 Glory.”
In addition to the album’s release, Pounds has been celebrating its chart performance. Ground 2 Glory attained the number one position on Apple Music’s South Africa Top Albums chart, marking a significant achievement for the artist.
Pounds referred to this milestone as his first number-one album and song, emphasizing the importance of this accomplishment and the gratitude he feels toward his fans and supporters.
The Audiomack cover followed this achievement, and his recent feature on Apple Music’s Rap Life provides another avenue for promoting his latest music. Currently, he is also included on Apple Music’s Rap Life playlist, where his new tracks are being showcased.
With Ground 2 Glory now released, Loatinover Pounds’ recent accomplishments are drawing further attention to the album and its ongoing promotion.
