“Upgrading your festive playlist with this one, We going global!!! Im’mangaliso drops this coming Friday 23rd October with Jay Synths, Ayo Maff, Ticozet and Sami’Kay,” she stated.

For MaWhoo, this release follows a productive 2026, which included various new music projects and partnerships. In August, she launched a joint album titled Isithembu in collaboration with fellow South African artist Lwah Ndlunkulu. This project added to her extensive repertoire as she continues to experiment with different musical styles.
Her previous releases, including Bengicela and Crazy of Me, have highlighted her artistic range and her ability to blend emotional depth with dancefloor-friendly tunes.
MaWhoo has established a strong presence on digital platforms and South African radio, gaining a following through her unique voice and consistent releases. Her track “Thando Yini” is particularly notable, showcasing her impact in the local music scene.
With the launch of Im’mangaliso, MaWhoo is broadening her collaborative efforts, bringing together diverse artists to create a united musical experience. This international collaboration underscores the potential for African musicians to merge their talents and engage audiences worldwide.
As the release date approaches, listeners are eager to discover how MaWhoo, Jay Synths, Ayo Maff, Ticozet, and Sami’Kay blend their distinctive styles in this new single.
Set to debut on 23 October 2026, Im’mangaliso is poised to be another significant addition to MaWhoo’s active release schedule as she shares her music with fans in South Africa and internationally.
