Tyla Among Honorees with Other Emerging Talents Like Finn Wolfhard and Sam Nivola
South African music sensation Tyla has been recognized as one of Variety’s honorees for the 2025 Power of Young Hollywood.
She joins an elite group of rising talents acknowledged for their influence, success, and cultural significance across the entertainment industry.
Variety’s annual list shines a spotlight on newcomers who are set to shape the future of Hollywood.
Tyla to Be Honored Alongside Fellow Rising Stars in August
Tyla will be celebrated alongside other rising stars, including Stranger Things actor Finn Wolfhard and The White Lotus star Sam Nivola, among others.
The exciting 2025 Power of Young Hollywood event, sponsored by SanDisk, is scheduled for August 7 in Los Angeles.
This special event will feature a red carpet, a cocktail hour, and a “class photo” showcasing all the honorees from the 2025 Young Hollywood issue.
Variety’s co-editor-in-chief, Ramin Setoodeh, shared that the Young Hollywood issue is one of the publication’s most eagerly awaited releases, highlighting the next wave of industry trailblazers.
“The Young Hollywood issue is one of our cherished flagship franchises, and our 2025 class represents the industry’s future,” Setoodeh said. “We are excited to celebrate our cover stars Tyla, Finn Wolfhard, and Sam Nivola, and to unveil our must-read ’40 Under 40′ list, honoring Hollywood’s new power players.”
