Handre Pollard is the newest Springbok to promote an alcoholic drink – a brandy dubbed Invictus.
The renowned flyhalf has recently made his return to the Bulls following a five-year stint playing overseas.

On his Instagram account, Handre Pollard announced his role as the ambassador for Invictus VSOP Cape Brandy, which has just hit the shelves of Checkers Liquor stores nationwide.

In a humorous video, the flyhalf was shown surprising shoppers at Checkers while disguised.
After clinching his second Rugby World Cup title, Pollard and several of his fellow Springboks marked the occasion with their preferred drinks.
Pollard’s beverage of choice is brandy – or “brannas en coke” – which he consumed in large quantities.
