Sizwe Dhlomo takes pride in passing up an acting opportunity and a radio position
Prominent media figure Sizwe Dhlomo has astonished his followers by discussing certain job offers he chose to decline.
While reflecting on his earlier work, Sizwe took to X to mention that he came across a correspondence from 5FM that extended an offer for a radio show, which he opted to reject.
“Lol! I was looking for my old files! I even found a letter of a radio show I was offered on 5FM but I turned it down,” he wrote.
A follower inquired whether the proposal wasn’t aligned with his desires at that moment, to which Sizwe responded that he had greater ambitions.
“I had a bigger plan for my life. I turn down a lot of jobs. Like, lots! Do you know that the role of ‘Sbu Vilakazi’ on Rhythm City was written for me? I politely declined because I’m not an actor. Then they offered it to Andile Ncube I think, he also declined,” he revealed.

Another user humorously remarked how some individuals receive roles without the audition process.
“Mmm must be nice, other kids must go for auditions while the likes of Sizwe and Andile just get offers without sweat. Alikho liciniso emhlabeni.”
