Following the triumph of his highly praised Inkanyezi Live EP, the renowned artist Sjava is back with Inkanyezi 2.0 Live EP — a continuation of the narrative and vibe that won over his audience.
This sequel amplifies the sheer emotion and thrilling essence of his live shows by introducing five fresh tracks, captured during unforgettable performances at the Joburg Theatre (15–16 August 2025), just three weeks ahead of the official release.
If Inkanyezi was the ignition, Inkanyezi 2.0 serves as the inferno: a profound exploration of connection, intimacy, and spirit. The sounds of the audience, the band’s vibrancy, and Sjava’s openness blend into something everlasting, making each song a vivid memory.
True to its title, Inkanyezi (“a star”), this project emanates light, resilience, and optimism — the very essence Sjava imparts whenever he interacts with his fans.
The EP showcases the iconic Shwi, who has previously worked with Sjava on Ithuna from his platinum-selling Isibuko. Additionally, it features a partnership with the renowned producer, instrumentalist, and artist Zadok, celebrated for his genre-blending sound and influential contribution to South African music.
