DJ and producer Chymamusique, originally from Limpopo, has shared updates about his recovery following a serious car accident that resulted in the death of fellow artist DJ Poizen.
On September 12, 2025, the celebrated musician, whose birth name is Collen Ntala Mmotla, uploaded a photo taken from his hospital bed, revealing his legs wrapped in bandages.
In the post, he expressed his longing for mobility, stating, “I can’t wait to be able to stand and walk again. Lord, make me over again.”

The fatal incident occurred on August 30, resulting in Poizen’s death while Chymamusique sustained serious injuries.
Since the accident, the artist has been sharing reflective messages with his fans as he continues his healing process.
The day prior to sharing his hospital image, he posted a motivational message, urging followers to find purpose amidst struggles.
“Every day is a chance to breathe again. Try again and seek God to guide us into living a purpose-filled life.”
Additionally, he honored Poizen by sharing one of their musical collaborations on his X account, eliciting emotional responses from fans who have been grieving alongside him.
