Real Madrid will resume their La Liga efforts this Saturday, facing off against Real Sociedad at Anoeta Stadium after the international hiatus.
Softfootball has reported that the La Liga action kicked off with a match on Friday, where Sevilla experienced their first home draw of the season, settling for a 2-2 tie against Elche at the Ramon Sanchez Stadium.
Prior to the match, Real Madrid took to their official X account to confirm their journey to San Sebastián ahead of their encounter with Real Sociedad.

As reported by Softfootball, Real Madrid maintained their unbeaten streak with a 2-1 victory against Real Mallorca at the Santiago Bernabeu on August 30th. Conversely, Real Sociedad faced a tough 1-0 loss to newly promoted Real Oviedo prior to the international break.
The Galácticos have started the season strongly under Xabi Alonso, a former player, who has rejuvenated the team’s performance.
The Spanish manager has won all three games since he took charge, allowing only one goal while his squad netted six. Due to Madrid’s impressive early-season form, Alonso received the La Liga Coach of the Month award, marking his first official accolade in that role.

This match will be Alonso’s inaugural contest as a coach against Real Sociedad, a team he knows well from his playing days. Alonso encountered La Real seven times and emerged victorious on every occasion, including an assist registered in 2012.
With a flawless record to draw upon as a player, Alonso approaches this upcoming match with confidence. Historical data favors Madrid in this rivalry; during the last 10 clashes, Los Blancos have won seven times and drawn twice, with Sociedad only managing one victory back in 2019.
Nonetheless, there may be a chance for an upset. Recall that Barcelona, last season’s champions, were held to a 1-1 draw by Rayo Vallecano last month. Sociedad will aim for their first win of the campaign.
So far this season, Sociedad has recorded two draws and is seeking a win, currently sitting in 16th place on the table after conceding four goals.

Real Madrid is still dealing with injury issues, with Endrick and Ferland Mendy listed as doubtful. However, Alonso indicated that Jude Bellingham and Eduardo Camavinga are nearing full fitness, having participated in training with the team on Friday.
For Real Sociedad, head coach Sergio Francisco, who took over from Imanol Alguacil last April, is under scrutiny after a disappointing start, compounded by several injuries to key players like Inaki Ruperez, Orri Oskarsson, and Yangel Herrera, who have all been out for weeks.
Potential Starting XI for Real Madrid: Thibaut Courtois, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Eder Militao, Dean Huijsen, Alvaro Carreras, Federico Valverde, Aurelien Tchouameni, Vinicius Junior, Arda Guller, Rodrygo, and Kylian Mbappe.
Potential Starting XI for Real Sociedad: Alex Remiro, Jọn Aramburu, Igor Zubeldia, Duke Caleta-Car, Aihen Munor, Brais Mendez, Jon Gorrotxategi, Palo Marin, Takefusa Kubo, Mikel Oyarzabal, and Ander Barrenetxea.
SoftFootball’s Predicted Score: Real Sociedad 0-3 Real Madrid
