Big Zulu has released his eagerly awaited joint EP with his daughter, Nkabikazi, named Undodakazi— available globally as of October 10, 2025.
Combining different generations, voices, and touching narratives, Undodakazi— which means “Daughter” in isiZulu— serves as more than just an EP. It represents a honoring of family, identity, and the strong connection between a father and his daughter. This project signifies a significant moment for the celebrated artist, highlighting his roles as both a musician and a devoted father.
“This EP is close to my heart,” states Big Zulu. “It’s not just music — it’s our story. Watching Nkabikazi grow into her own voice has been the greatest gift. Sharing the mic with her is a dream I didn’t even know I had.”
At merely 16 years old, Nkabikazi makes a striking entrance with her rich voice, poetic lyrics, and hybrid sound that combines Afro soul, maskandi, and hip hop. The duo presents a work anchored in affection, heritage, and lyrical substance, connecting different generations in a unique manner.
Undodakazi EP is available now on all streaming platforms.
