Music producer Chymamusique has ignited a significant online discussion by claiming that emergency medical services (EMS) staff pilfer from accident scenes.
The producer, who recently faced a serious accident, expressed on X that EMS workers “steal at the accident scenes alongside the tow truck drivers.”
The issue came to light when radio presenter Mshana ka Malume prompted his audience to “Name one thing about this gang (EMS)?”
Chymamusique’s comments quickly polarized social media audiences.
Some participants echoed his accusations, stating they had observed similar behaviors at accident sites.
Conversely, others strongly defended EMS personnel, highlighting the challenging and dangerous situations they navigate in their efforts to save lives.

A supporter responded to the producer’s remarks, saying, “There’s a vid you mention that someone tried to search your pockets while you were unconscious. I suppose you were referring to the EMS team or Tow truck drivers.”
