Cyan Boujee opens up about feeling unwanted in high school
Cyan Boujee recently shared insights into her life during an appearance on the L-Tido Podcast.
The influencer discussed a variety of topics, including the contentious Russian recruitment issue, her choices in dating, and her decision to undergo cosmetic surgery.
Regarding her cosmetic enhancements, Cyan disclosed that she had her initial Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) in 2021 and has since pursued additional procedures, emphasizing that these choices were entirely her own.
“I did my BBL because I just definitely wanted to,” she stated, noting that her motivation stemmed from the example set by American rapper Cardi B.
“I had a lady I looked up to, and I just knew that one day I wanted to look like her.”
The public figure also recounted her adolescence, admitting that she often felt excluded due to her looks.
“No one really wanted to associate themselves with me because I looked so bold and straight. My body was like an ice-cream body… straight up. If I wore pants, it was worse,” she reminisced.
Cyan highlighted how societal beauty norms are established from an early age, even within children’s media.
“Let’s talk about cartoons. If you see a cartoon and you see a big woman there, aren’t they always the villain? And then the attractive ones are always so innocent and the queens. But the big ones are always angry, all the time.”
For her, altering her appearance was part of a broader aspiration to achieve fame.
Cyan confessed that she recognized her desire to become a star at an early age, and she believed that enhancing her looks was a means to gain greater acceptance and affection from the audience.
