
South African media figure Gogo Skhotheni is filled with pride after making her acting debut in the new local drama series, Puseletso.
The well-known sangoma and DJ, whose real name is Tumi Motsoeneng, has taken on a lead role in the Mzansi Bioskop series, portraying the character of choir instructor Sister Rachel.
Reflecting on her new role on Instagram, Motsoeneng described the experience as fulfilling a longstanding dream:
“My heart is full. Today, I stepped into my very first acting role as Sister Racheal. A dream I’ve carried quietly has finally come to life. Forever grateful for this opportunity, the team, and the journey ahead. Ngiyabonga.”
In her post dated Sunday, 28 September 2025, Gogo Skhotheni shared teasers from her performance in the show, acting alongside former Rhythm City stars Mpho Molepo and Mapula Mafole.
