In a recent discussion on the SMWX Podcast, Forbes shared insights about how the series will delve into him reconnecting with his history while finding comfort through various personal and creative activities.
“Personally, I’m working on my reality show. It’s about doing things which I can find some healing. Doing things that make me more healthy. And also doing things that make me reconnect with Kiernan’s past,” Forbes stated. This series is expected to provide a personal view of his experiences as he deals with grief and honors AKA’s legacy.
Forbes noted that one of the episodes will focus on music. “One episode is about me singing. I’ve always wanted to record a song, so in this episode I’m going to sing. Maybe we’ll do the father-son song. I want to do a gospel song, like singing in the church with a choir,” he mentioned. He also indicated a desire to collaborate posthumously with his son by adding his vocals to some of AKA’s songs, such as “Last Time,” creating a unique tribute.
In addition to music, Forbes expressed intentions to cover other elements of self-discovery and connection. He highlighted plans to learn cooking and to commemorate moments that reflect AKA’s life. “There’s an episode I want to celebrate Kiernan and pay tribute to Kiernan my way, as his dad,” he remarked, pointing out that the show is designed to be both contemplative and uplifting.
Forbes’ reality show will serve as a heartfelt exploration of healing, creativity, and remembrance. It offers viewers a chance to engage with the story of a father dedicated to preserving his son’s memory while charting his own way forward. He concluded by inviting the Megacy to remain attentive: “So watch this space.”
