South African comedian and media figure Felix Hlophe appears to have made a significant advancement in his personal life, as reports suggest he has revived his relationship with his previous partner, Ayanda Bhengu, and has now brought her into his family.
Online sources state that the radio and television host has reportedly completed the lobola process for Bhengu, thus designating her as his second wife.
Videos believed to be from the traditional lobola ceremony appeared on X on December 18, 2025, posted by a user named JabulaniL2023.
The clips depicted the festivities, showcasing Hlophe’s family members assembled for the negotiations, accompanied by a tasteful arrangement and an abundant meal in honor of the event.
In the recordings, the couple looked cheerful and tranquil amid the celebration, with Bhengu seen kneeling and offering Hlophe a platter of food, a moment signifying her formal acceptance into the family.
This news has rekindled interest in the couple’s intricate past.
Bhengu, a mother of two sons, once appeared on Hlophe’s reality show, Life with Felix Hlophe, where the ups and downs of their relationship were highlighted.
She had previously ended their relationship just prior to the lobola payment, describing the intended polygamous situation as “toxic” and citing ongoing drama and disputes as reasons for her decision to prioritize her children.
Hlophe, who is already in a marriage with six children, has expressed his intentions to create a polygamous family.
The recent events imply that, despite their earlier difficulties, he and Bhengu have managed to reunite.
However, reports of the ceremony have ignited a lively discussion online, with reactions split among social media users regarding the relationship and its implications.
