Born on November 3, 2000, in Ha-Mphego, KD Filmsproduction’s creative aspirations took shape in 2018. Initially focused on photography at Thavhani Mall, he quickly realized the need for reliable equipment. His first attempt at purchasing a camera through Facebook in 2019 ended in disappointment when it malfunctioned, forcing him to sell it at a loss. However, with unwavering support from his family, he secured another camera, setting the stage for his transition into video production.
Breakthrough and Growth
KD’s major breakthrough came in November 2019, when Nakizile and Zee Films encouraged him to explore videography. He started by filming performances at Cabal Villa, Hook Up Cafe, and private shoots, gradually building his brand. Despite initial skepticism from artists, KD persevered, leading to collaborations with T-Man Gavin, Eazy SA, Jr Player, and Razie Kay. These partnerships amplified his reach, solidifying KD Filmsproduction as a trusted name in the industry.
