Kenny Gayton’s Controversial Remarks on Sexual Assault Spark Outrage Online

Kenny Gayton's Contentious Comments on Sexual Assault Ignite Online Backlash

A video featuring Gayton McKenzie admitting to exploiting women in his past – which he even categorized as rape – has made its way back to social media platforms. This occurrence comes in the wake of criticism directed at the Patriotic Alliance leader’s previous tweets in which he repeatedly used the K-word.

The Minister of Sport, Arts and Culture is facing increasing pressure to resign as a result of the racial controversy.

GAYTON MCKENZIE ACKNOWLEDGES SEXUAL EXPLOITATION OF WOMEN

<pIn a video shared on the X platform, Gayton McKenzie spoke to an audience at a public gathering last year.

During this, he provided insight into his life as an individual engaged in criminal activities.

He expressed: “I didn’t hold women in high regard when I was involved in gang life.

He further stated: “Many of you may not grasp what constitutes rape. When you engage in sexual relations with a woman who is intoxicated, it’s rape, as you lack her consent.

“We used to get women drunk to sleep with them, and that is indeed rape.”

Gayton’s remarks left many South Africans in disbelief.

@ThisIsColbert: “Minister Gayton McKenzie claims he used to rape women? Is the leader of the Patriotic Alliance a rapist? Is Cyril Ramaphosa aware of this?”

@TheeBLCKBARBI: “This man should be incarcerated immediately.”

@tau_molebogeng: “What a repulsive individual.”

A REFORMED WOMANIZER?

In 2015, Gayton McKenzie was featured on SABC’s Morning Live, where he confessed to having a history of infidelity.

The politician was invited to discuss his book titled The Uncomfortable Truth.

This book draws from the ex-convict’s experiences with romance, casual relationships, and sexual encounters.

“I have eight children with six different mothers. Those were my player days… in my very mischievous phase…,” he revealed to a surprised Leanne.

Gayton mentioned that the book contains valuable advice for women, including his three daughters. He stated, “I aim to provide them with more than just financial resources. I want them to be different. I don’t want them to be taken advantage of like I did with women.”

WHAT ABOUT KENNY KUNENE?

Similar to Gayton McKenzie, the past tweets of his Patriotic Alliance co-founder have also recently come to light.

In several cases, the “Sushi King” made offensive remarks regarding women. Some statements suggested taking advantage of intoxicated women. Additionally, Kenny made remarks about wanting to sleep with the spouses of his critics, including Mmusi Maimane.

During an interview with Metro FM’s Phat Joe, Kenny – who was a former high school educator – admitted to having sexual relations with underage girls.

“That’s statutory rape,” co-host Pearl Thusi reacted in shock.
