Ruben Amorim, the manager of Manchester United, has announced that he will be without three players for the derby against Manchester City on Sunday.
According to Softfootball, the absent players are Diogo Dalot, Mason Mount, and new acquisition Matheus Cunha. Amorim previously expressed concern regarding the injuries to both Cunha and Mount following their recent home victory against Burnley at Old Trafford.

Dalot is dealing with muscle pain and was forced to withdraw from Portugal’s squad for their World Cup qualifiers during the international break.
During the pre-match press interaction, shared by Manchester United through their official club media, Amorim was questioned about the fitness of the three players. He responded:
“I think they are out for this game. I don’t know how long it is going to take. We need those players to be a very, very competitive team, but we have very good players that are eager to play, so we will be competitive on Sunday, but they are out, they cannot help us in this game.
I don’t want to say [how long they will be out]. If you talk with Cunha, if you catch Cunha outside, he will say he can play this game! So I don’t know. We will manage day by day, but they are pushing hard and that is a good thing.
Currently, Manchester United occupies the ninth position in the league table, having secured one win, one draw, and one loss, totaling four points. Meanwhile, Manchester City sits in 13th place, with one win and two defeats.
