Lady DU marks major milestone in her beauty business
Prominent amapiano artist and entrepreneur Lady Du is celebrating a significant achievement with the third anniversary of her beauty venture, Wawa La Beauty.
To honor this milestone, she acquired a new Mercedes-Benz V-Class, which reflects her success and journey.
On her Instagram, Lady Du expressed her emotions regarding her entrepreneurial journey and the fulfillment of her ambitions.
She views Wawa La Beauty not merely as a salon brand; it embodies her aspirations as both a mother and a business leader.
“Another man’s trash is another man’s treasure… my salon turns 3 years and I’m sooo emotional because I’ve literally achieved the goals I wanted to achieve,” she stated.
She shared that her nine-year-old daughter already possesses three properties free of debt, providing grounds for her entrepreneurial endeavors.
Lady Du noted that she is currently in the process of launching her third Wawa La Beauty location, entirely financed through her own revenues without any external funding.
She also acknowledged her supporters for their role in her success, stating, “It has happened through your investment… you guys booked, streamed, and supported all my businesses to make my dream a reality.”
A key aspect of her achievement is the opportunity that her franchise provides. Wawa La Beauty now employs 32 people, offering high-quality beauty services that compete with some of South Africa’s most recognized establishments.
Each location includes a children’s salon operated by her daughter, integrating their family legacy into the brand’s framework.
The occasion took on an extra touch of glamour with the introduction of her new V-Class, which she regards as a testament to her dedication, strategic planning, and commitment to establishing a lasting financial legacy.
