Their brief romance seemed serious, characterized by extravagant gifts and international getaways that suggested an ideal engagement.
Sources, however, indicate the romance has concluded, with Lebo M purportedly rushing into a marriage with Dube, also referred to as Moya.
As per someone acquainted with the couple, Lebo M and Moya initially met in the United States under unexpected conditions.
“She was signed to Asanda Empires, under Sony but they parted ways while she was in the US. This is where she met Lebo, and they got married,” the source alleged.
The insider added that Moya is a commendable person: “What a lovely girl, pleasant, gorgeous. But she was stranded in LA and Lebo became her knight in shining armour.”
Prior to his engagement with Besso, Lebo M had also been linked to Malefu “Mel” Ntsala.
He reportedly proposed to Besso shortly after ending that previous relationship, although their engagement unravelled months later.
“He is a serial lover, to say the least,” the source stated, insinuating that the composer has a history of high-profile romances.
According to reports, Lebo M is believed to have ended his relationship with Besso after flying her to South Africa for the African Icons concert in Durban, which was a tribute to the late Joseph Shabalala.
They were said to have stayed in a luxurious beachfront hotel during the visit, but sources claim that the romance did not last long thereafter.
“He is smitten by Moya. She is quiet, ladylike and very submissive. Besso on the other hand was overly confident,” the insider noted.
There are also reports that Lebo M is attempting to retrieve the engagement ring he reportedly gifted to Besso.
“It had a massive rock and he is going the legal route to make sure he gets it back,” the insider remarked.
