Mama Joy publicly supports Morocco for AFCON finals 2025
South African superfan Mama Joy has expressed her support for Morocco as they prepare to play in the AFCON 2025 final on Sunday night.
While she is known for her fervent support of Bafana Bafana, Joy Chauke has broadened her support to include other teams following South Africa’s early exit from the tournament.
During the tournament, she also backed Nigeria, which went on to earn a third-place finish in their match against Egypt.
On Sunday, she posted a video on social media where she is seen wrapped in the Moroccan flag while sitting in a car with a Moroccan man.
In the video, she openly showed her support for Morocco as they approach the final.
“Am supporting Morocco today ,,, you know the story ,,, Thanks for your hospitality Morocco today am with you ,,, Dankoo let’s see,” she wrote in the caption.
This display of support led to discussions online.
While some users appreciated her gesture and thanked her for her support of Morocco, others disagreed, suggesting that Senegal would win the championship.
